Roger Jacobs attended New York University, School of Law acquiring a J.D. in 1976.  While there he received the Arthur T. Vanderbilt Medal.  He went on to earn a Masters of Law in Labor Law, June 1979 and was the Elias Lieberman Fellow in Labor Law (1978-79.)

Roger Jacobs taught at Fordham Law School for twelve years where he taught Bargaining and held the rank of Professor. He currently teaches as the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations and has taught classes on employee handbooks and policies; realities of the Americans With Disabilities Act; and dealing with troubled employees, among other subjects.   Roger Jacobs has also worked in both a large corporate law setting as well as running a very successful and prominent firm of his own.  Mr. Jacobs has extensive knowledge and a unique insight into the world of arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, having been long recognized in the field and winning several awards, including the AAA Arbitration award. Mr. Jacobs has also received several certifications and extensive training including; NJICLE Mediator Certification, CLE training, and New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators Accreditation Certificate.

He is a recognized expert in workplace disputes and also has a great deal of litigation experience having handled cases in various courts of appeals around the United States as well as courts in New York and New Jersey.  Among the hundreds of mediations he has handled disputes involving commercial, construction, real estate, employment, and FINRA cases.  The matters in dispute were varied ranging from IP disputes including restrictive covenants and trade secrets to disputes between managers and employees.
